Architect
The architect is ideally involved as the solution architect in the design fase, in the validation of the solution as the auditor, or in its delivery as the lead consultant. The architect is able to create the technical design for components from, for example, SAP, Microsoft and other key application vendors, as well as the hardware configuration and the other infrastructure components. He/she supports and advises the project and programme manager in deciding the approach. He/she has an understanding of all aspects of the technical design of the environments and related components, such as load and performance testing, installations, network topology, hardware sizing and integration aspects. The TopForce solution framework facilitates the complete composite application, which requires the architect to have knowledge and experience of the ESOA principles, open standards and other components of both the SAP NetWeaver Landscape, such as SAP XI, BPM, Solution Manager, SLD, XSS, BI, business packages, NWDI and SAP backend, as well as for example MOSS, WSS, Developer Studio and .NET. The design of the solution is delivered by the architect, preferably in consultation with the integration architect and BI architect.
