A technical perspective
In carrying out a project for an energy company, we focused on the end-users ; the customers. We have realised a perfect business-to-consumer solution that allowed the customer to be part of the core process. For example, customers now have access to their own meter readings in real time and can view their annual bills online. An ideal solution, realised with SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP NetWeaver and Btexx. Result: satisfied customers, increased customer loyalty, cost savings and more enjoyment of work at the service centers.
On behalf of a leading Dutch public transportation company, we have created a portal where all employees and managers can deal with their HR issues themselves. We have integrated 26 HR services into a few transparent use cases; expenses claims, the allocation of laptops and time records. As a result, employees and managers are able to do their work pleasurably, conveniently and quickly. And cost savings due to the downsizing of the HR service center. With the help of IBM WebSphere, SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP NetWeaver, SAP XI/PI and SAP HR, we have been able to deliver an outstanding user experience.
