Collaboration between Rotterdam School of Management and TopForce on New Worlds of Working

TopForce B.V. and the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University are teaming up. As part of the New Worlds of Work research programme, TopForce and RSM are jointly developing a research tool to shed light on various dimensions of the High-Performance Workplace. The HPW increases the productivity and satisfaction of employees in the digital workplace. George Yip, dean of the RSM and Coen Dijkstra, managing director TopForce signed the agreement today.
The High-Performance Workplace
The digital workplace is becoming ever more complex: more applications, more locations from which employees need to be able to work and more technical possibilities such as mobile communication. The TopForce High-Performance Workplace creates a new perspective on the workplace with the user at its heart. “What applications and what information does the user need to perform better? And how can these be delivered in a way that is easy to understand at a glance? The
High-Performance Workplace focuses on the interaction between the user and the digital world, said Elisabeth de Leeuw, responsible for the Identity & Access Management discipline within TopForce.
Collaboration
“The research instrument that RSM is currently developing will shed light on changes in productivity and employee satisfaction in organisations that use the HPW”, said Marcel Oosterhout, researcher and project manager.
“An initial pilot study will be completed in 2009. The final research tool will then be ready for use in early 2010.”
