SAP Portal Architect

Profile
As a SAP Portal Architect you are active at renowned national and
international clients. Depending on the assignment you are involved in
designing the solution as a solution architect, in the validation of
the solution as an auditor, or in the realization in the role of lead
consultant. As a SAP Portal Architect you are capable of not only
designing the technical construction with regard to the components of
SAP NetWeaver, but also of designing the hardware configuration and
remaining infrastructure. You support and advise the project- and
program manager at determining the project approach. You have insight
into all aspects of the technical structure of the SAP Portal and
related components like load- and performance testing, J2EE
administration, installations, Network topology, hardware sizing and
the integration aspects. The solution framework of TopForce facilitates
the complete composite application, so the SAP Portal Architect
preferably has the knowledge of and experience with the ESOA
principles, open standards and other components of the SAP NetWeaver
Landscape, like SAP XI, BPM, Solution Manager, SLD, XSS, BI, business
packages, NWDI and the SAP backend. The SAP Portal Architect will,
preferably in consultation with the integration architect and the BI
architect, deliver the solution design.
Qualifications
You are a good listener and based on the client situation you are
capable of formulating and implementing the right solutions. Depending
on what your ambitions are, you contribute to the positioning of the
Services in the field of SAP Portals and composites (tools,
implementation methodology, usability, integration, infrastructure,
etc.) and are involved in pre-sales and quotation activities. Working
in a team, you are capable of executing first quality advice projects
and/or contributing substantially to implementation projects. It goes
without saying that you know the latest developments on SAP Portal and
related products and solutions (business packages, alternative frontend
like Muse and DUET(™).
We are looking for consultants, senior consultants, managing
consultants and senior managers for our BI practice, depending on your
knowledge and experience.
Your current work experience is at a consulting firm or client
organization and your educational background is minimally on HBO level.
You have experience with SAP BW implementation projects, you know both
general Portal principles and general Architecture principles and you
are familiar with TOGAF architecture framework or any related
architecture framework.
You have excellent communication skills and your command of both the
Dutch and the English language is impeccable.

Information Practice
People
The mission of the People practice is to realize the ‘High
Performance Workplace’, identified by Gartner as an important
pillar of the ICT development for the coming years. The user will get
more and more responsibilities and will need more and more information
to be able to effectively execute his tasks. To be able to realize this

techniques, in combination with his knowledge of and experience with
composite applications, the People practice consultant knows how to
develop the ideal ‘High Performance Workplace’.
You will be working on fully integrated projects containing almost the
complete NetWeaver stack. We serve clients like Shell, Philips,
Government Bodies, Heineken, Essent, Rolls Royce. We also help
Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) in becoming
‘Powered by NetWeaver’. We furthermore help these
ISV’s realizing market specific solutions, based on SAP
NetWeaver.
